Growing up in Chicago Suburbs, Andy has always been fascinated with the way that places shape the way we live and who we are. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing and Environmental Sustainability from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

As the author of award-winning short stories, essays, and a children’s nonfiction book about climate change, Andy hopes to make the world a better place through stories that both illustrate the problems of now and dream up a better future.
